Can lessons include mock tests or help after a failed test?
Yes. Test preparation can include independent driving, manoeuvres and mock-test feedback. If you have taken a test before, share the examiner’s feedback so your instructor can prioritise the skills that need work. Further tuition should be based on your current driving, not just the next test date.
Can I book a lesson just to use an instructor’s car for my test?
Please speak to NextPass before booking for a specific test appointment. The instructor needs to check your driving standard and confirm both their availability and the car arrangements. Buying a lesson or package does not guarantee test-day car use.
When should I book my practical test?
For most first-time car learners, you need to pass the theory test before booking a practical test. Discuss readiness and instructor/car availability before choosing an appointment. You should be able to drive safely and independently, not just have completed a number of hours. DVSA controls test appointments; NextPass cannot guarantee a date or a pass.
